Normandy SR2 Infography by nico89-fx Normandy SR2 Infography by nico89-fx
NEW VERSION [link]

A little video: [link]

I had the Idea of better showing my Normandy model (Version 2 released, but actually version 3.0)
And what better than an Infography to do so?
I got to play around in Illustrator (Which I hadn't in a veeeery long time) And gave a try at 32 bits per channel in Photoshop, as the model was rendered with such bit depth.
It was pretty memory intensive, but it was totally worth it.

As always, comments and criticism are always very much appreciated.

Hi,
you write 237 meters as the length of the Normandy SR-2 but I have read somewhere else that she is only 216 meters long. Where did you get your length information?

Cerberus engineers told me. Nah, seriously, I made an estimate for which I used some pretty far-fetched math.
I went to the SR1's wreackage, where you can make shepard stand in front of the hull where it says 'normandy' given that the letters are a tad taller than Sheps and he should be around 1.8 / 9 meters tall, well, I scaled my model so that a letter on the hull would be 2 meters tall or so. Then it's just getting a very long tape and I got that measure, granted, it could have been wrong, but since there's no canon lenght I could have gone with anything.
OFC, this could be completely off since I did so 'by eye' but it was, I think, not all that far away from the 'real' thing.

it's 50/50.. I had to guess loads of things. But I used some references I found both online and taking ingame and cutscene screenshots.
