Normandy Infographic WIP by nico89-fx Normandy Infographic WIP by nico89-fx
Well, I am trying to convey as much info as possible in this one without it getting all crowded and 'mass-effect-less' on its look, so bear with me on this one. It's just a WIP, so it'd be awesome to get some feedback, especially on the data and such, most of which I've double checked.
The SSV Normandy, if you don't know it already is your ship in Mass Effect 3.

Ignore these fools. Shepard actually is a Lieutenant Commander. He was never promoted through-out the trilogy.

You wouldn't happen to have its size width and height, would you?

I think those are the fusion torches, not the antimatter drives.
Antimatter engines are used sparingly, due to the damage caused by exhaust in the millions of degrees.
The big blue engines are used all the time.

[link] Check "Propulsion and power": The Normandy's main propulsion is provided by four large antiproton thrusters with both aft and forward exhausts. Yes, they are damaging, but not to the SR2 itself, but to any ship unlucky enough to try and stay behind it. There's even a picture of it.

And that's a fan-operated wiki. I'm basing this on the codex, canonical reference material by Bioware.

So you are saying that the Normandy SR2, the most advanced vessel in the galaxy save for the reapers uses "commercial fusion torch" (as described in the Codex) as its motive power? It sounds weird to me

I recall reading what I'm basing this off in the ME1 codex, if that helps you track it down.
Fusion torches are standard on most types of ships and warships have antimatter thrusters as supplements for hard acceleration in combat.

Except the engines marked are used in atmosphere, pointing right at city buildings in Nos Astra for example. The antiproton thrusters would destroy half the city.
